- Purpose The Stratos is the perfect size for a day pack. You can fit all your essentials and a few extras.
- Features explained
- Fully adjustable back length. Just pull back the velcro strap panel and slide the straps into place.
- Ventilated trampoline suspended mesh backpanel. Idea is you're hiking in warm weather.
- Hydration compatible, room for a bladded in the bag with a hydration sleeve.
- Integrated and detachable raincover, this is base in the base of the bag and is easy to pack away.
- Side compression straps, this allows you to decrease the volume of the bag when its not full.
- Hiking pole loops, based on the left hand side of the wearer.
- Chest strap with emergency whistle.
- Twin zippered hip belt pockets. Easy access to your essentials.
- vertivle centered zipped pocket for easy access to essentials.

Hike, bike, work bag, trail runs — do it all in style – The most comfortable backpack I have ever used. The Stratos 24 is great for hiking and bike commuting. On the bike I stow the belt buckle in the pockets on the hipbelt.

3 year review of the Osprey Men’s Stratos 24 Backpack – I have used this pack in just about every way possible, and in almost every instance it has served me well. Daily commute on my bicycle and motorcycle.

poor design – Hip pads cover fabric is deteriorating quick. hydration pack is difficult to load unload/load as insert opening is so high up inside the bag and the other top pocket obstructs it.

Love this pack! – Has good sized main compartment but really shines in the many well placed pockets. Adjustable harnes sets it apart from other small packs allowing the user to adjust the pack to fit.
